TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. PARTCIPATION FEE & CANCELLATION
Upon submission of the registration form to the Organiser, the Exhibitor agrees to make full payment immediately to secure a spot. Successful/Unsuccessful vendors will be notified via email or whatsapp after 31st August 2024 and all unsuccessful vendors will be refunded within 7 working days. For any cancellation 30 days before the event, participation fees will be forfeited. Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation. For any reason, the Organiser decides to cancel or postpone the Event, the Organiser is not responsible for covering airfare, hotel or other travel cost incurred by clients. Event programme content is subject to change without prior notice. The CBN Alumni EXCO reserves the right to cancel the event due to any unforeseen circumstances. A full refund for payment received will be made within 7 working days from notification of cancellation.
2. ALLOCATION OF BOOTH, MANNING, SET UP AND DISMANTLING
The allocation for booth is at the absolute discretion of the Organiser, in accordance with the nature of Exhibits or in the manner deemed fit an d appropriate, including with Health and Safety Compliance, ( Policy : https://mitec.com.my/policy-guidelines.html ). Should the Exhibitor decided to engage a contractor other than from the Official Contractor, the Exhibitor is required to seek approval from the Organiser. The Non-Official Contractor shall undertake to adhere to all Terms & Conditions contained herein. Exhibitor is not allowed to choose the location of their booths. Any requests or appeals are subject to the discretion of the organiser. No Food or Beverage items are allowed for sale. Strictly no cooking/open fire is allowed. This includes pre-packed, processed, bottled F&B. Booth owners may only sell merchandise/ items according to their initial application. Selling of CBN or CBN Alumni items/merchandise is strictly prohibited.
Only 1 table (3ft x 6ft), with black table cloth and 2 plastic chairs will be provided. You may not bring extra table/chairs. You may bring your own extension cord, bunting, display rack/shelf, table cloth, mannequin, backdrop, or mirror. Booth owners are to submit a list of staff names, IC details and contact numbers to the Organiser. A maximum of 2 staff per stall is allowed. Setting up your booth – Saturday, 2nd November from 3.00pm – 5.00pm only. On set up day, you may temporarily park your car at the loading bay to load off your booths items and then park your car at the designated parking. Important: No dragging of any items on the floor to avoid any damage. Please use appropriate trolleys. Dismantling/pack-up/ clear booth space – Saturday, 2nd November from 10.30pm-11.30pm. Inspection will be done at 5.00pm and 11.00pm on event day. All booths will have to be ready for sale and dismantled according to the stipulated timing. Cleanliness is priority. Please bring your own rubbish bag/bin and cleaning materials. All rubbish are to be brought back home after event. No rubbish are allowed to be thrown at the event space.
3. PARKING / ADMISSION / DRESS CODE
Parking is only allowed at the designated parking space (Level 3). To avoid any traffic congestion, NO vehicles are allowed to be parked at the loading bay. Dress Code – Only those who dress appropriately are allowed to enter school compound. (NO sleeveless, no shorts, no short skirts, no slippers, no transparent top/bottom).
4. PROHIBITIONS
The Exhibitor is expressly prohibited from displaying any Exhibits which are unlawful, offensive, explosive or immoral at their Exhibition Booth or hall. The Organiser reserves the right to instruct the Exhibitor to remove such unlawful or immoral exhibits immediately from the Exhibition Booth failing which the Organiser has the right to remove the same, and the Exhibitor shall be liable to pay the Organiser the costs and expenses incurred.
5. RIGHT OF REMOVAL
The Organiser reserves the right to prevent access or to remove from the Event space (including the Event Booth) any person or persons acting in a way which may cause a breach of peace, or maybe considere to be harmful, undesirable or offensive, or may constitute a danger to public safety including the safety of those present at the event.
6. CHANGE OF THE VENUE AND OR TIME
The Organiser reserves the right to amend the venue and duration of the event. The Organiser shall accordingly inform the Exhibitor in the Eve of any such change. The change of the venue and duration of the exhibition shall not entitle the Exhibitors to cancel its participation in the exhibition. The Exhibitor hereby agrees that the Organiser shall not be liable for any claim arising from such change. This changes also include revised SOP or new instruction from the Government regarding COVID19 or any cause that does not allow this event to be conducted.
7. INDEMNITY
The Exhibitor undertakes to fully indemnify the Organiser for any lost items or goods loaned or in the possession of the Exhibitor throughout the exhibition.
8. FORCE MAJURE
In the event of fire, tempest, explosion of any kind, failure or neglect on the part of any utility supplying electricity or water, labor strife, civil commotion, war, fire or explosions or any other event beyond the control of the Organiser that prevents or hinders the Organiser from fulfilling its obligations under this Agreement, the Organiser shall ensure that the Exhibitor is aware of the occurrence of any such event and to cancel or suspend this Agreement by notice in writing to the Exhibitor. Changes in SOP or new instruction from the Government regarding COVID19 or any cause that does not allow this event to be conducted will also fall under this condition.
9. RIGHTS
The Organiser reserves the right at its own absolute discretion to alter the Terms & Conditions contained from time to time without the need to inform the Exhibitor.
10. COPYRIGHT
All intellectual property rights in all material produced or distributed by Organiser in connection with this event is expressly reserved and any unauthorised duplication, publication or distribution is prohibited.
