The CBN Fundraising Dinner was a great success! Those attending the dinner enjoyed the food and the nostalgic music with a bunch of ladies even doing some line dancing. The participation in the silent auctions was very good and the live auction was very exciting. Meanwhile, all 100 Limited Edition CBN mugs sold out.
Proceeds from the 40 tables sold, auction and donations came up to RM314,224. After deducting for the dinner costs, the net amount is RM xxxx. This would temporarily help the primary and secondary school with its urgent needs such as slope stabilisation as well as repairs to drainage, electrical and plumbing systems.

The purpose of this Fundraising is to raise RM500,000.00 for the whole school complex consisting of SK(1), SK(2) & SMK CONVENT BUKIT NANAS.
These funds are needed to cover immediate and unexpected repair and restoration expenses not covered by the government’s annual allocation.
The school needs funds urgently for
- overall general building and landscape maintenance;
- repair of landslides (constantly recurring and the latest one near Brede Block worsened
during the 2nd week of September, and the slope drains at the Jalan Ampang staircase need
immediate repair as the soil below is loosening) and - replacement of old electrical wiring, plumbing and repairs to cracks.
This is just the beginning of a long-term plan to have sustainable finances for the future of the school.
